About Pro Fit Electrics

A licensed A-Grade electrician, REC 32277, operating from Beaconsfield since 2016 and servicing Melbourne’s south-east. Residential, commercial and industrial. Open seven days. Written quote before any work starts, and a Certificate of Electrical Safety on every job without exception.

Who Is Pro Fit Electrics?

A licensed A-Grade electrical contractor, REC 32277, ABN 30 740 865 704, based at 7 Bragg Rd, Beaconsfield VIC 3807. Operating since 2016, fully insured, and open seven days.

What we are not is a call centre. Ring us and you are speaking to the electrician who will do the work, not a dispatcher booking a subcontractor from across Melbourne. 5.0 stars across 24 Google reviews, almost all of it repeat business and referrals.

Knowing the local housing stock is half the job. Pre-1990 homes in Beaconsfield and Berwick still on ceramic fuses need different work to the newer estates in Officer and Clyde North, where the board is modern but the loads it was sized for are not.

Four Things We Do the Same Way Every Time

Certified, Every Job

A Certificate of Electrical Safety is lodged with Energy Safe Victoria on every single job, from one power point to a full rewire. It is included in the price, never an extra, and you get a copy.

A Written Price First

You get a written quote before a wire is touched, and the quoted price is the price you pay. No hourly rate appearing on the invoice, no call-out fee attached to getting a quote on switchboard or EV charger work.

We Turn Up When We Said

Open seven days, 7am to 5pm on weekdays and 9am to 5pm on weekends. Most jobs in the core service area are attended same day or next business day, and you are told if that changes.

We Say No to the Wrong Jobs

We are not auto electricians, plumbers or appliance technicians, and we will not sign off unlicensed DIY work after the fact. If the job is not ours we say so and point you at the right trade. What we don’t do →

About Pro Fit Electrics — Common Questions

Is Pro Fit Electrics licensed, and how do I check?
Yes. Pro Fit Electrics holds REC 32277 and is a fully licensed A-Grade electrician in Victoria, operating under ABN 30 740 865 704 with comprehensive public liability insurance. You do not have to take our word for it. Energy Safe Victoria maintains a public register of licensed electrical contractors and you can look up REC 32277 yourself before booking anyone, including us.
Who actually turns up? Do you subcontract the work out?
The electrician who quotes the job is the electrician who does it. We are not a lead-generation business dispatching whoever is nearest. That is the main reason our work comes from repeat customers and referrals rather than paid advertising, and it is why the 5.0 rating across 24 Google reviews is consistent rather than mixed.
How long has Pro Fit Electrics been operating?
Since 2016, so a decade at the time of writing, all of it based in Beaconsfield servicing Melbourne’s south-east. Long enough to have seen the pre-1990 fuse boxes and the brand-new all-electric estate homes, which are two very different sets of problems.
How do you quote, and is there a call-out fee?
You get a written quote before any work begins, and the quoted price is the price you pay. There is no hourly rate creeping onto the invoice afterwards. On-site inspections for switchboard and EV charger work are free with no obligation. Small, clearly defined jobs can be quoted over the phone. Switchboards, rewires and EV chargers get looked at in person first, because a guess over the phone becomes a variation on your invoice.
Are you open on weekends?
Yes. Open seven days: 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Urgent faults are prioritised and can usually be attended the same day.
Do you take small jobs, or only big ones?
Small jobs get taken. A single power point, a crackling light switch, a breaker that trips when the kettle and toaster run together. Each gets the same written quote, the same licensed workmanship and the same Certificate of Electrical Safety as a full rewire, and most are done in one visit. Plenty of electricians will not call back about a two-point job. We will.
